Rig Rescue and Rappel Complete
Six days of consecutive training at our Ottawa River base high angle site or Toronto High Angle Site provides the most intensive training module available in North America. Students graduate with a combined Rig I, II, and III certificate.

Anchor Selection and construction.
Team safety.
Edge safety.
Various belay techniques.
Various rappel techniques.

Advanced Anchoring techniques.
Tying off a belay in tandem and solo.
Tying off a rappel device.
Mock situation tests.
Introduction to Haul Systems.

Day Three:
Review of Level I skills.
Rope ascending techniques.
Haul Systems.

Day Four:
Rescuer positioning.
"Pick off" Rescues
Mock situation test.
Introduction to basket work.

Day Five:
Review of Level II skills.
Packaging in various rescue baskets.
Lowering and hauling baskets.
Barrow Boy positioning.

Day Six:
Mock situations.
Tyrolean Traverse.

Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate from the school.
